Board meeting is October 7, 2017, 5 pm at the Central Ninth Grade Center
The Sand Springs Community Theatre, a 501(c)(3) corporation was officially established in May of 2007 after receiving a grant through the city of Sand Springs. The original committee consisted of only a handful of dedicated people who envisioned dramatic arts as a key component in the growth and renewal of our city. We wanted to provide an outlet for our community members to literally “play a part” in this exciting endeavor. We became incorporated June 26th, 2007 and began production. Our first official meeting was held in July 2007. The grant from the City continued for two more years setting the financial groundwork for the continuation of SSCT. Since those humble beginnings, we have successfully produced 9 seasons of theater events including a well-received Children’s Theater Workshop production. 2017 is year #10!!
We are looking forward to another great season of theater in Sand Springs. Through an agreement with the Sand Springs Schools, SSCT theatre location is at the Central Ninth Grade Center, 14 W 4th, Sand Springs, OK. The Sand Springs First Christian Church and Monte and Betty Box help with storage of costumes and set pieces as well as Charles Page High School Drama Department. The SSCT board appreciates the collaboration with these organizations and people. Watch for Page Players at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center venue from time to time.
Now heading into our 11th season, we are a bit awe-struck over the success of SSCT and The Page Players. We have established a strong base of support and are excited to be a part of the progressive future of Sand Springs. We have great visions for the arts in our area.
Sand Springs Community Theater is committed to developing a company which is respectfully dedicated to the exploration and celebration of the performing arts. Our company will strive to appeal to the entire community by catering to all ranges of age and ability to provide positive interaction among our citizens. This cultural connection through the medium of theatre arts should strive to educate, inform, and entertain, as we seek to stimulate progressive and cooperative development in our community of Sand Springs. Thank you for your support of the dramatic arts through Sand Springs Community Theatre!

Gift Award Winner 2017
Charles Page High School Senior
Kathryn “Katie” McInnis
With the help of financial grants from the City of Sand Springs and under the leadership of CPHS Drama teacher, Andrea Campfield, the Sand Springs Community Theatre started it’s journey in 2007. Each year, a gift award has been presented to an outstanding high school student and this year is no different. Katie is no stranger to the stage. The summer of her 8th grade year, she auditioned for a musical and found her love of music and musical theatre. She has performed with Youth Onstage, the Charles Page High School Drama Department and Sand Springs Community Theatre. As Cinderella for SSCT’s production of Into the Woods, she got to perform on the Williams Stage at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center which fulfilled a dream of hers since that 8th grade summer. She credits her high school drama teacher, Andrea Campfield, for her theatre training. Katie also participates in the Oklahoma All-State Women’s Choir. Kendra Roulet, her National Honor Society Advisor, says, “Katie’s personality, generosity, intelligence and grace touch everyone around her” and the board of the Sand Springs Community Theatre couldn’t agree more. Katie was also one of the honored speakers at her 2017 class graduation ceremony. We look forward to seeing what Katie will do in the future.
